This past week has seen framing repairs, more sheeting, the completion of the roof framing, and one loft built and framed.

We have affectionately dubbed the roof framing, “roof bones.”

Currently we are researching our preferences in roofing, siding, and interior walls while adhering to our budget. Our goal is to be under roof and sleeping in the house before winter, while we finish the interior. We will continue to utilize our RV as we finish, but we are concerned about sleeping in it during winter cold. So far, we are doing fine with the help of extra layers and our handy Edenpure infrared heater, but the RV just isn’t well insulated. We have a 26 degree low in the forecast in a couple days, so we are about to find out!

Meanwhile, here are some photographs from the roof and loft building.
